Job Title: Personal Driver / School Bus Driver

Location: Isolo / Oke-Afa / Ejigbo Axis - Lagos

Description

• We are seeking a responsible, experienced, and safety-conscious Personal Driver / School Bus Driver to provide reliable transportation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the client to appointments and other designated locations, as well as safely transporting a few school children during school terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport the client to appointments, meetings, and other designated locations.
• Safely transport school children during school terms, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off.
• Maintain strict adherence to assigned schedules while prioritizing safety at all times.
• Ensure both the client's vehicle and the school bus are kept clean, neat, and presentable at all times, both internally and externally.
• Conduct daily routine checks on both vehicles, including tyres, engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, battery, lights, windscreen wipers, and fuel levels.
• Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and ensure both vehicles are serviced promptly to maintain optimal performance and safety.
• Promptly report and follow up on any mechanical faults, repairs, or maintenance requirements to prevent operational disruptions.
• Ensure all vehicle documentation, including insurance, licence, roadworthiness certificates, and other statutory documents, remain valid and are renewed on time.
• Refuel vehicles as required and maintain accurate records of fuel purchases where applicable.
• Ensure that both vehicles are always roadworthy, secure, and ready for use.
• Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company/client policies.
• Exercise discretion, professionalism, and courtesy while carrying out assigned duties.
• Perform any other driving or vehicle-related duties as may reasonably be assigned.

Working Hours:

• During School Terms: Daily from 5:30 a.m. (or as required).
• During School Holidays/Non-School Days: Daily from 8:00 a.m. (or as required by the client).

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' professional driving experience.
• Valid Nigerian driver's licence with a good driving record.
• Previous experience as a personal, executive, family, or school bus driver.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic regulations.
• Strong time management skills and a commitment to punctuality.
• Professional appearance with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and routine inspections.

Additional Requirements:

• Must provide two verifiable professional references from previous employers.
• Applicants may be required to undergo background and reference checks.
• A proven history of safe driving, professionalism, and reliability is essential.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing within or around Isolo, Oke-Afa, Ejigbo, or nearby areas to ensure timely resumption.

Salary
N100,000 / Month (Net)
