We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Architect

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose 

• The Architect is responsible for the planning, design, coordination, and execution of architectural projects from concept development through construction completion.
• The role involves preparing architectural designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, innovative, and code-compliant solutions that meet client requirements.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and schematic designs in line with client requirements, project objectives, and applicable standards.
• Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, specifications, schedules, and other technical documentation using industry-standard design software.
• Produce detailed working drawings and construction documentation for tendering and project execution.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
• Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and technical discussions.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Review contractor shop drawings, material submissions, and requests for information (RFIs), providing timely feedback and recommendations.
• Ensure designs comply with statutory regulations, planning requirements, building codes, health and safety standards, and company quality procedures.
• Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), project cost estimates, and tender documentation where required.
• Identify design risks and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions during project development and execution.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Maintain accurate project records, drawing registers, revisions, and technical documentation.
• Support business development activities by contributing to technical proposals, expressions of interest (EOIs), presentations, and bid submissions when required.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable design practices, emerging technologies, and relevant regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Education and Experience

• B.Sc Architecture, M.E.D Environmental Design (added advantage)
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in similar position.
• Technical knowledge & cognitive approach to design analysis & implementation
• Ability to multi-task
• Conversant with Autodesk applications ; AutoCAD versions for drafting drawings
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong analytical & organization skill.

Professional Certification:

• Architects Registration Council of Nigeria, ARCON – Full member
• Nigerian Institute of Architects, MNIA– Full member
• Nigerian Institute of Management – member.
