Job Title: Procurement & Supply Chain Officer

Job Summary

• The Procurement & Supply Chain Officer is responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, procurement planning, contract administration, inventory optimization, logistics coordination, and supply chain continuity to support uninterrupted factory operations.
• The role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with operational requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
• Conduct supplier due diligence, performance evaluations, and contract management.
• Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, service levels, and commercial terms.
• Coordinate inventory replenishment and stock optimization activities.
• Monitor supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure timely delivery of raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, spare parts, and operational supplies.
• Maintain procurement records and support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical sourcing standards.

Requirements

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and procurement software.
• Strong organizational and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc / HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 3 – 5 years experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or inventory management, preferably within manufacturing, food processing, FMCG, or industrial operations.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent will be an added advantage.
