Job Title: Sampling Technician

Job Summary

• We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sampling Technician to join our Feed Mill operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting representative samples of raw materials and finished feed products from the production plant and bagged inventory, and ensuring their timely delivery to the laboratory for quality testing.
• Candidates must have prior experience in a feed mill environment and be committed to maintaining quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect representative samples of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished feed products from the production plant and bagged stock.
• Deliver samples promptly to the Quality Control Laboratory for analysis.
• Ensure samples are properly labeled, documented, and handled according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all samples collected and submitted.
• Support quality assurance activities by adhering to established sampling procedures.
• Report any irregularities in product quality or sampling processes to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety while carrying out sampling activities.
• Comply with all company health, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in a Feed Mill is mandatory.
• Good understanding of feed production processes and sampling procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically fit and able to work in a production environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
