Job Title: Marketing Officer

Description

• We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Marketing Officer to support the company’s sales and marketing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting the company’s services, generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting initiatives that contribute to the company’s growth and market visibility.
• The candidate should have a good understanding of the construction industry, strong communication and networking skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies that attract potential clients and support business growth.
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the company’s construction services, projects, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching potential clients, projects, markets, and industry trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, consultants, contractors, developers, and other key industry stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities, market trends, and potential areas for business growth.
• Support the preparation and submission of company profiles, marketing proposals, presentations, expressions of interest, and tender documentation.
• Monitor construction industry opportunities, including new projects, tenders, and procurement activities, and provide relevant updates to management.
• Coordinate with the technical, project, procurement, and management teams to develop accurate and compelling marketing materials and client proposals.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, networking meetings, client meetings, and other relevant business development activities.
• Manage the company’s digital marketing activities to improve brand visibility, engagement, and online presence.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of clients, prospects, business contacts, and potential project opportunities.
• Follow up with prospective clients and leads, track business development activities, and provide regular reports on marketing performance and opportunities.
• Support the development of strategic partnerships and collaborations that can generate new business opportunities for the company.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in marketing, business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably within the construction, or real estate industry.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies and generating new business leads.
• Good understanding of the Nigerian construction and Real estate market is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and online marketing platforms.
• Strong proposal writing, presentation, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
