We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Farm Assistant

Location: Katsina 
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• You overall job responsibilities is to support the day-to-day operations of the farm to ensure the proper care of livestock and the smooth running of farm activities.

Your reponsibilities includes;

• Assist with the feeding, watering, handling, and general care of livestock.
• Monitor animal health and report any illness, injury, or unusual behaviour.
• Maintain the cleanliness of animal pens, feeding areas, and farm facilities.
• Assist with the distribution of feed and other routine farm activities.
• Ensure proper use and care of farm tools and equipment.
• Comply with the Company's health, safety, and biosecurity procedures.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience working on a livestock farm or in a similar agricultural environment.
• Basic knowledge of livestock handling and farm operations.
• Physically fit and willing to work outdoors under varying weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Honest, reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and farm hygiene.
