Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Ugbe Akoko, Ondo
Start Date: Immediate

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Finance Staff to join its finance team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial operations, excellent analytical skills, and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Process payments, receipts, invoices, and reconciliations accurately.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and financial planning.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support payroll processing and other finance-related activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, statutory regulations, and internal controls.
• Assist with audits by preparing the required financial records and reports.
• Monitor inventory-related financial transactions where applicable.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance (preferred) or a related discipline such as Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Preferred Gender: Any

Preferred Candidate:

• Candidates with a Degree in Banking and Finance and at least five years of hands-on experience in a similar finance position within a manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or related industry will have an added advantage.

Working Days & Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Break: One-hour break daily.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly slightly negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
