Job Title: General Manager (HR & Operations)

Job Summary

• As the General Manager (HR & Operations), you will provide strategic leadership across the organization's human resources and operational functions, ensuring workforce effectiveness, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR and operational strategies that drive organizational performance, productivity, and business growth
• Oversee talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, administration, and workforce planning while ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies
• Lead daily operational activities across the plant and business units to ensure efficiency, cost optimization, and achievement of operational targets
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs, budgets, policies, and internal controls while driving continuous process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with executive management to provide strategic recommendations, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in HR and Operations Management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the Manufacturing, Plant, Mining, or Heavy Industrial sector
• Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, SPHR, HRCI, PMP, or related qualification is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of HR strategy, industrial relations, operations management, HSE compliance, workforce planning, and business process optimization
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, financial management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
