Role Summary/Purpose:    
As a member of the GE Africa Human Resources’, sub-regional Western Africa HR team, reporting into the Sr. HRM – Western Africa and dotted line into Pipeline Development Program Manager, this role will be focused primarily on providing day-to-day tactical HR support to GE Africa, Global Supply Chain Leader and project related support for GE Africa’s PDS(Pipeline Development Strategy).

Essential Responsibilities:    

• Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Supporting a wide range of HR processes and programs, such as manpower planning, , recruiting & staffing, session C, compensation & benefits, employee development and performance management
• Providing tactical HR supporting for Project Emerald, up to and including, resource tracking, functional input
• Partnering with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure the appropriate infusion of the GE Africa’s PDS into the Global Supply Chain organization
• Partnering with Pipeline Development Program Manager and Africa Pipeline Development Council to execute the communication strategy, key projects-PDS Week, Boot camp /program, for the region to enhance internal and external awareness.
• Working with diverse remote teams, managing through a matrix structure, and will require strong analytical skills, process & project management, combined with a solid foundation of leadership and influencing skills. The incumbent will be expected to maintain solid knowledge of, and compliance with, all aspects of GE’s Spirit & Letter of Integrity and all other applicable Company Policies.
• Ownership of the onboarding & assimilation processes for all employees under global supply chain and program participants
• Assist with monthly/quarterly COE dashboards and reporting. Coordinate COE operating rhythms, large events, and meetings

Qualifications/Requirements:    

• Nigerian Citizenship or ability to live and work in Nigeria without restriction.
• Education to Bachelor Degree level. Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years HR experience.
• Strong written & oral communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization and multicultural/international environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix team environment as the geographical scope shall be Africa.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) required.
• Demonstrated process skills with proven ability to execute
• Previous program experience, either leadership or as a participant
