Enugu State Polytechnic Admission for 2016/2017 Academic Session

The Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo, hereby invites interested candidates whose UTME score is 180 and above to apply for admission into the following programmes offered at the Polytechnic for the 2016/2017 Academic Session.

Available programmes are National Diploma (ND) and Higher national Diploma (HND) in the Colleges of Agricultural Technology, Business Management Technology, Applied Science Technology, and College of Engineering Technology. The programmes are available in fulltime and part-time basis.

Entry requirements into the programmes of the above named Colleges are:

A.) College of Agricultural Technology

Agricultural Extension and Management (HND)
Programme Requirements:

• OND in Agric Technology and other related discipline with a minimum of lower credit pass
• As in Agricultural technology
• Evidence of one year post National Diploma Cognate Work Experience.

Agricultural Technology (ND)
Programme Requirements:

• Five SSCE/NECO/GCE O'Level Credit Passes in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science and any one of the following: Geography, Physics, Technical Drawing, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Statistics and Nigeria Language at not more than sittings

UTME Subject:

• English Language, Chemistry and Biology or Agric Science and any other Science subject.

Animal Health and Production Technology (ND)
Programme Requirements:

• Five SSCE/NECO/GCE O'Level Credit Passes in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology or Agricultural Science and any one of the following: Geography, Physics, Technical Drawing, Food and Nutrition, Economics, Statistics and Nigeria Language at not more than sittings

UTME Subject:

• English Language, Chemistry and Biology or Agric Science and any other Science subject.

Horticultural Technology (ND)
Programme Requirements:

• Five SSCE/NECO/GCE O'Level Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and any one subject from: Biology or Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/Basic, Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics/Commerce at not more than two sittings

UTME Subject:

• English Language, Mathematics and any two of Chemistry, Physics or Technical Drawing.

B.) College of Business Management Technology

Accountancy (ND)
Programme Requirements:

• Five SSCE/NECO/GCE O'Level Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any three subject from: Economics or Commerce, Business Method, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Geography, Office Practice, Government, Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, History or Government, Typewriting or Shorthand at not more than two sittings

UTME Subject:

• English, Mathematics and two of Geography, Commerce, Government, Principles of Accounts and Economics

Banking and Finance (ND)

• Five SSCE/NECO/GCE O'Level Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics and any three subject from: Economics or Commerce, Business Method, Principles of Accounts, Geography, Office Practice, Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, History or Government, Typewriting or Shorthand at not more than two sittings

• English, Mathematics and any two of Geography, Economics, History, Government, Commerce or Principles of Accounts.

C.) College of Applied Science Technology

Computer Science (ND)

• Five credit passes in SSCE/NECO/GCE O' Level in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and any subject from: Biology or Agriculture Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics or Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics or Commerce at not more than two sitting

UTME Subject:

• English, Mathematics and any two of Geography, Physics, Economics or Chemistry

Statistics (ND)

• Five SSCE/NECO/GCE O' Level in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other two subject from the following: Economics , Geography, Government/History, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric Science, Typewriting at not more than two sittings.

UTME Subject:

• English Language, Mathematics and any two of the following Economics or Commerce, History or Government CRK or IRK.

D.) College of Engineering Technology

Electrical and Electronics (ND)

• Five credit passes in SSCE/NECO/GCE O' Level in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and any subject from: Biology or Agriculture Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics or Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Woodwork, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics or Commerce at not more than two sitting

UTME Subject:

• English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Technical Drawing.

Computer Engineering Technology (ND)

• Five SSCE/NECO/GCE O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and any other subject from the following: Biology or Agriculture Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics or Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics or Commerce at not more than two sitting

• English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Technical Drawing.

Application form are obtained on the payment of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only payable at any branch of First Bank Plc into Account Number 2013732730. Original copy of the "Payment Teller" should be submitted to the Admission Officer for collection of forms
