Position: Territorial Commercial Manager

Description
  • Drive increased distribution of key priority products and maximize distributor / wholesale / Retail activities to exploit volume/value growth opportunities within the Territory
  • Coordinate all Territory sales and promotional activities, and analyze and correct variances Work with direct reports to manage selling and merchandising agents to ensure the Company sales and merchandising standards are maintained
  • Working closely with IT Sales Development and Training to successfully develop and implement systems to enhance the effectiveness of the sales function, e.g. Field force automation Monitor and appraise quarterly, the activities of the Customer Business Partners within the Territory to ensure full compliance with the service menu in the Distributor Contract.
  • Monitor price points across the value chain to guarantee the delivery of agreed profitability margins
  • Lead, coach and motivate all members of the Territory sales team to guarantee the delivery of overall objectives. Copied: www.hotnigerianjobs.com
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
  • Good first degree in any related discipline from a reputable institution. Higher degree(s) , such as MBA, will be an advantage
  • Minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience with at least 3 years in in a similar role, preferably in multinational FMCG environment
  • Strong strategic orientation, demonstrable negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication (verbal & written) skills and willingness to work in any part of the country.
