We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Lead

Location
: Lagos

Job Description
  • Lead Business Development and Sales efforts within the Nigerian oil & gas sector and broader industrial customer base - Power, Mining, FMCG, Transportation, Manufacturing, Maritime
  • Deliver material turnover / P&L growth for the Industrial Manpower & Asset Integrity space
  • Identify and grow a network of industry clients and relationships within the target customer base - production, maintenance, operations, HSSE, asset management and leverage to anticipate client needs
  • Lead marketing/branding activities at trade fora, technical platforms, during corporate presentations/pilots and on social media to support sales growth
  • Identify potential new products or services that compliment the Group’s business lines
Support and where necessary lead contractual negotiations with the clients:
  • Independent management of commercial activities with new and existing clients,
  • Proactive identification of new business opportunities, potential risks and mitigation options
  • Cooperate with Operations and Global recruitment teams to ensure smooth execution of client contracts
  • Prepare detailed status reports / KPIs for both internal and external use
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing/margins, new products, competitors, sales techniques etc

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience in industrial/technical sales generation
  • Demonstrated track record of sales / business development growth in Nigeria oil & gas market - able to transition to other key sectors
  • Excellent customer service, client relations and multi-tasking skills
  • Proven experience with key industry regulatory stakeholders, union & trade associations
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
