A reputable Oil and Gas Servicing company, is looking for the services of a qualified candidate to fill the position below:
Job Title: Tendering Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Ensure that all relevant data and information compiled during the tender development phase is considered and made available to all team members.
- Develop clarifications, tender submittal, post-submittal clarifications, etc.
- Maintain accurate records and files (manual & electronic) of all the tender data (i.e. correspondence, quotations, internal input, etc.).
- Liaise with all tender team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements and the commercial strategy as defined by the Commercial and Business Development Managers.
- Oversee the tender estimate for accuracy and compliance with the customer requirements and commercial strategy.
- Alert Commercial Department to potential problems in tender development / production.
- Review original writing by tender team members for clarity.
Requirements
- Relevant University Qualification, Post Graduate qualification in Management.
- Experienced with using IOC approved software.
- Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar environment.
- High levels of business savvy as well as strong negotiation skills would be added advantage.
- Relevant contacts in the various IOCs and regulatory bodies.
- Able to think independently and work with no supervision.
- Able to travel, both locally and internationally.
Core Competence:
- Engineering, Design, Construction, Procurement, Pipeline Maintenance, Commissioning, Installation and high end Project Management services.
