Job Title: Android Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Primarily focus on expanding and improving existing Android applications
- Develop using both Java and Kotlin
- Incorporate the latest advances in Android features
- Ensure scalability and front-end design integrity
- Work closely with the Design team to implement new features
- Independently support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support)
Requirements
- Ability to perform and thrive in a team environment
- Experience working in an AGILE environment
- Experience with Git and management of branches
- Experience working with RESTful web services
- Experience with TDD
- Experience working with one or more of the following libraries; Retrofit, Dagger, RxJS, Chuck
- Experience working with Android Geolocation APIs
- Experience working with Firebase APIs
- 1+ years of mobile app development experience in Java and Android Studio
- At least one published app in app stores (public facing or enterprise)
