Job Title: Software Developer (PHP)

Job Description
- We are looking for excellent PHP/Node.js Developers ranging from Junior - Senior Level to work on a variety of Client projects in developing high performance web applications. You will be responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
- Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
- You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by the front-end developer into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies(HTML, CSS, less & Sass) is necessary as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
- Writing reusable, testable and efficient code.
- Collaborate with the software development team on continuous integration and delivery as well as automated and manual testing to ensure good quality solutions are delivered
- Participating in an agile delivery process, research and recommend new solutions.
Technical Requirements
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks {{such as Laravel, Scala codeigniter) or Node.js.
- Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- You should be comfortable working with APIs.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript/Vue HTML5, and CSS3,
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience with Container tech like Dockers.
- Integration of data storage solutions not limited to - MongoDB, couch base, firebase, postgresql.
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
- Ideal candidates will be innovative and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be comfortable working with deadlines and have a passion to keep enhancing your skills.
