We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Officer (Learning and Development)

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of training and development programmes
  • Devise a training strategy for the organisation
  • Produce training materials for in-house courses
  • Devise individual learning plans
  • Create and/or deliver a range of e-learning packages
  • Ensure that statutory training requirements are met
  • Plan and assess the 'return on investment' of any training or development programme
  • Identify training and development needs within an organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments
  • Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individual
  • Consider the costs of planned programmes and keep within budgets
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers
  • Amend and revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment
  • Help line managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
  • Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses
  • Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research.
  • Build training programmes from scratch (from the initial idea through planning, implementation, review and outcomes analysis) and delegate work to other members of the learning and development team
  • Work closely with other human resources officer and other senior staff

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of HND / BSc in Human Resources management, English Language or any other relevant Art or Business management courses. Masters degree is an added advantage
  • Relevant professional certification/training e.g CIPM, is also an added advantage
  • Minimum of 24 years of age.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Human Resources Officer in Learning and Development or related working experience.
  • Ability to conduct presentations and training
  • Ability to use Presentation equipment such as Slides, Projector, etc.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to use Microsoft suits (Power Point, Word, Excel, Corel Draw etc,) and other necessary software.
  • Excellent communication, written and analytical skills
  • Good personality and ability to take responsibilities
  • Ability to develop training and learning materials
  • Ability to read, summarise and interpret materials
  • Candidates should reside around Ikeja / maryland, Gbagada, Shomolu / Bariga, Yaba, Ojota axis.
