Corporate Headhunters Limited - Our client, a start-up Microfinance Bank located in Ekiti State is seeking to recruiting suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Operations / Customer Service

Location: Ekiti

Job Responsibilities

  • General supervision of branch operations
  • Vault Custodian
  • Continuous enhancement of the quality of customer service
  • Ensure that operations staffs are abreast of relevant regulatory circulars and industry knowledge through continuous training.
  • Ensure professionalism, efficiency and courtesy to customers at the branch Office.
  • Authorization of all processed transactions in operations
  • Authorization of all processed transactions
  • Providing daily, weekly and monthly proofs on all various internal accounts in the branch
  • Processing of Western Union transactions for customers
  • Issuance and processing of value cards for customers
  • Reconciliation of all entries outstanding on branch database
  • Processing of incoming and outgoing clearing cheques
  • Processing of incoming and outgoing returned cheques
  • Ensuring routine reconciliation of the company’s accounts
  • Preparation of Management Accounts and Reports
  • Preparation of Financial Reports and CBN / NDIC Returns
  • Budgeting and Budgetary Control
  • Tax management
  • Management of the Company’s Insurance policies
  • Monitoring the economy and financial environment for peer comparison and changes that could affect the business
  • Thinking ahead of regulatory policy changes and being abreast of any change
  • Supervising the general strategy objective of the company and various departments and reporting on performance
  • Ensuring the measurement and improvement of processes as documented
  • General administration of the Accounts
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Qualification & Experiences

  • HND / B.Sc in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc / MBA is a plus.
  • ICAN and ACCA qualification are relevant but not necessary.
  • Evidence of completion / exemption of / from NYSC
  • MCP certification is mandatory.
  • 6+ years relevant experience
  • Must be resident or ready to relocate to Ekiti State
