Job Title: Facility Engineer
Location: Bayelsa
Job Description
- Ensure maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and other systems in the facility
- Ensure performance of activities that conform with company rules and requirements.
- Ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards by reporting practices if unsafe or adversely impacting the environment.
- Assist in accomplishing organizationТs efforts to meet or exceed goals and plans.
- Recommend improved Environment, Health and Safety practices to management.
- Ensure operations are efficiently maintained by completing project functions on time and within budget.
- Technically assist the Plant in areas of installation, start-up, repair and training
- Assist in distribution and generation of equipment and systems performance.
- Conduct analysis and propose procurement of facilities services.
- Prepare relevant reports and ensure proper selection of outsourced services.
Requirements and Qualifications
- HND / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years experience in similar role
- Ability to work with a team to accomplish goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records, and prepare clear and concise written reports.
- Ability to apply engineering principles and techniques to equipment, buildings and infrastructure.
