In order to meet increasing demands for our services, vacancy now exists for the below senior management position in our Head Office located in Lagos, Nigeria:

Job Title: Head - Human Resources & Talent Management

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment and bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievancesor other issues
  • Effectively manage all areas of human resources management functions as a strategic business partner and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements

General Qualification, Experience, Attributes and Skills Required

  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management, Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology or other related Social Sciences with membership of recognized professional bodies within or outside Nigeria. An MBA / M.Sc. is an added advantage
  • A minimum of 5 year post qualification experience in senior management position as HR Manager with demonstrable capabilities for systems thinking and HR modelling for organizational efficiency
  • Working knowledge of HR models, metrics, systems and analytics to forecast, plan, manage and align people with resources and organizational goals of the Group
  • Strategic, analytical, detail orientated, people focused and entrepreneurial
  • Innovative, compassionate, proactive, active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of extant labour laws and HR best practices
  • Ideal candidates will be dynamic, growth-oriented and ready to take advantage of emerging market opportunities.
