A Lagos based group of companies having interests in Engineering, Manufacturing, Agriculture and Real Estate seeks for experienced professionals who have a mix of operational prowess to get great work done.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Group Head, Human Resources (HR)

Location: Lagos

Description

  • The position require professionals possessing negotiation and collaboration skills needed to deliver exceptional service to our partners and inspire a team of people across companies in the group.

Summary

  • The Group Head of HR will have responsibility for the smooth and profitable operation of the company's human resources department.
  • He supervises and provides consultation management on strategic staffing plans, like compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and labor relations etc.
  • The incumbent will develop the company's HR strategies ensure all HR operations are in order and efficient

Responsibilities

  • Oversee an organization's recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes
  • Plan employee benefit, payroll, health and safety programs
  • Facilitate and monitor the implementation of standardized human resource processes
  • Adhere to all internal policies and legal standards
  • Effectively structure benefits programs to attract and retain top talent
  • Work with technical team to design, integrate and implement human resource software systems for better efficiency
  • Recommend new and improved measures performance evaluations

Requirements

  • B.Sc / MSc degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Previous experience working as a Group HR Head for at least five years
  • In-depth knowledge about local and international Human Resource processes. employment legislation, and legal regulations
  • Understanding and experience with Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing strategies
  • A key requirement is experience in training and performance management, especially the 360 degrees performance appraisal method.
  • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of HR management
  • Experience with HR tools and recruiting software; sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
  • Must not be more than 45 years of age by December this year.
