Job Title: Agency Sales Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • To supervise and ensure that all Unit Managers in his/her Agency have the required number of Active Agents that will enable them deliver on set targets/budget and sell all the company’s Insurance Limited products (Annuity and Non-Annuity) and services to deliver profitable revenue streams to the Business and Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit/Train Agents on how to prospect for 3-5 customers in a day, benefits of life insurance, handle objections, and close a sale.
  • Open up/Create new markets for Agents to be able to make sales
  • Monitor the activities of the Agents by getting daily activity report from them
  • Maintain a minimum of 10 active Agents/Insurance Advisors
  • Coordinate weekly Sales Clinic for his/her Agency.
  • Ensure all Agents in the Agency are certified by CIFM and licensed by NAICOM
  • Support and assist the Agents in meeting up with their targets and responsibilities.
  • Ensure lapse ratio of policies by Agents in the Unit is not more than 20%

Compliance:
To ensure that proposal forms are completed correctly by Agents and make sure that all relevant KYC documents such as:

  • Valid means of identification (National ID or Driver’s License or
  • International Passport or Voter Card or Letter from a Clergy or recognized public authority),
  • Evidence of residence (utility bill, bank account statement, tenancy agreement, electricity bill, telephone bill),
  • Passport Photograph of proposer and beneficiary(ies),
  • BVN (not compulsory) are provided.
  • Ensure that customer documentations are appropriately cared for by the Agents and filed in the office.
  • Follow up and ensure maturity benefits are paid to policy holders with matured policies and possibly resell such customers.

Job Requirements

  • First Degree (B.Sc. in any field)
  • Should be a NAICOM licensed Agent.
  • 3 - 8 years work experience.
