Job Title: Sales Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We are looking to employ a sales-driven and customer-oriented sales officer to determine the most effective solutions to increase company sales.
  • The sales officer's responsibilities include recommending improvements to current sales strategies, informing potential and existing customers of company promotions, as well as preparing accurate sales and expense reports.
  • You should also be able to continually identify new sales opportunities through customer referrals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, physical marketing, and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Answering customers' questions and escalating complex issues to the relevant departments as needed.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of company products.
  • Collaborating with the other team members to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.
  • Analyzing competition to determine product features, benefits, shortfalls, and market success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • At least 1 year sales experience and proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Experience working in the corporate gifting, promotional product or branding company is an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of sales strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
