Job Summary
- We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and motivated Business Development Executive to join our sales team to help us expand our market and clientele.
- As our BD Executive, your main responsibility will be to drive our business success by implementing a strong and sustainable Enterprise and B2B sales strategy.
- The candidate will be building up a client base of other companies to maintain a relationship with offering sales and promotions for E’Sorae products or services.
- This will take not only quality communication and negotiation skills, but also great research and analysis expertise to answer any questions, meet needs, and land more sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Familiariseyourself with all products and services offered by E’Sorae
- Promote E’Sorae’s products and services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Attend networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients
- Maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained
- Suggest upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
- Craft business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients
- Negotiate with clients to secure the most attractive prices
- Review clients' feedback and implement necessary changes
- Remain in tune with trends to ensure that our offerings remain relevant
- Research potential new leads and keep on top of developments in the industry
- Contact prospective clients through a variety of mediums – this could include reaching out on social media, phoning, emailing or meeting in person
- Collaborate with other teams and colleagues to help align offerings with the needs of clients
- Keep on top of administrative tasks – such as updating CRM (customer relationship management) systems
- Hold presentations for potential clients
- Communicate with and update existing clients in a way that supports an ongoing relationship
Requirements
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree / HND in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or any other related field from a recognized institution
- 4 to 7 years of previous experience in a retail or hospitality environment
- Proven workexperience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role, ideally in a customer-centric, fast-paced environment
- Wide and strong network in the Nigerian hospitality industry and corporate space
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience measuring and reporting metric-based goals
- Experience in B2B relationships
