Job Title: Training Officer

Locations:
Lagos, Benin, Ibadan, Uyo, and Port Harcourt

Job Description
  • The Training Officer is responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive training package in order to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce and to fulfill the needs of the organization in the zone.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the establishment of an in-house employee training system that addresses company training needs including training needs assessment, new employee orientation or on-boarding, the measurement of training impact, and training transfer.
  • Ensure Security Guards are trained within the Zone.
  • Provide necessary education and materials to employees within the Zone.
  • Identify training and development needs within the zone through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and the human resources department.
  • Manage the delivery of training and development programs within the Zone
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with Supervisors.
  • Assist the HR/Admin department in the recruitment of staff including Security Guards for the Zone.
  • Conduct vetting and security inquiries in accordance with company's guidelines and standards within the zone.
  • Commence the processing of security clearances for prospective employees in the zone.
  • Prepare vetting reports as required.
  • Assist with the preparation of Budget.
  • Evaluate training and development programs.
  • Ensure information security and confidentiality at all times.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in security industry; HND (minimum) in Humanities/ Ex- Service Men/Women (Sergeant).
