Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Research and identify new business opportunities (Public Sector, NGOs)
- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
- Meet with customers / clients face to face or over the phone
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Continuous follow - ups with multiple collaborators
- Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
- Draw up tailored proposals for different clients
- Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
- 3 - 5 years’ experience as a business development Executive.
- Have pharmaceutical industry knowledge (must have)
- Excellent communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to prepare PPT for clients
- Ability to use MS Excel for contact generation and deal cycle tracking
- Time management skills
- Critical thinking skills
