Job Title: Marketing and Sales Executive (Hospitality)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Jod Summary

  • We are seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Marketing and Sales Executive. The ideal candidate will aim to maximize profits through developing sales strategies that match client’s requirements and by promoting the company’s services.

Responsibilities

  • Market all the facilities in the hotel
  • Maintain good customer relations with existing and prospective client
  • Drive the sales of the hotel by signing new corporate clients
  • Maximize customer awareness
  • Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
  • Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media, TV etc.), exhibitions and promotional events
  • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures
  • Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication
  • Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc.)
  • Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities.

Requirements

  • B.Sc / B.A in Marketing,Bbusiness Administration or relevant discipline
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years working experience in similar role in a hotel
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
  • Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
  • Proficient in MS Office and marketing softwares
  • Familiarity with social media and web analytics (e.g. WebTrends)
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be creative, self-motivated and highly analytical
  • Good team working and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Creativity and commercial awareness
  • Excellent networking skills
  • IT skills.

Salary
