We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Sales Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Purpose

  • The IT Sales Executive will be primarily responsible for identifying new business prospects and selling IT Solutions to them whilst maintaining a good relationship with existing clients and establishing relationship with new clients.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Assumes responsibility for effective performance of sales functions:

  • Developing sales strategies and meeting sales targets.
  • Identifying sales opportunities and developing sales leads.
  • Preparing and delivering sales pitches.
  • Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Negotiate and close deals - negotiating contracts to arrive at the best deal for both the client and organization
  • Meeting revenue and profit based sales targets.

Maintain a strong knowledge of products and services offered as well as industry trends:

  • Consulting with OEM and management on product offerings.
  • Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments.
  • Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products.

Assume responsibility for managing and meeting client’s requirements:

  • Setting up meetings with the prospective clients
  • Presenting product/ service demonstrations to the client
  • Build and maintain cordial relationships with clients and prospects
  • Attend sales meetings and give clarity on technical questions clients might have.
  • Determine client’s business requirements and advise on suitable product that meets client’s needs.
  • Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person.
  • Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints.
  • Initiating after-sales technical support based on client requirements and feedback.
  • Maintain and expand client database.

Assume responsibility for internal communications on sales activities:

  • Presenting findings to the technical team to act on.
  • Completes required reports and related documents promptly and accurately. Ensures the accuracy of all reports and accounting records.

Performance Measurements:

  • Sales and profit targets are met and exceeded in line with monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Sales forecasts are accurate, visits and events are effective.
  • Current customer accounts are maintained or expanded and additional ones solicited.
  • Good product knowledge, effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Management is appropriately informed of sales activities and problems.
  • Required records and reports are accurate and timely.

Qualifications

  • Education / Certification: B.Sc, B.Eng, B.A in a relevant field.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in IT sales

Required Knowledge:

  • Good proficiency level of Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Excellent phone and presentation skills.
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N180.000 monthly.
