Job Title: Operation Analyst (HSE and Process)

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Identifying operational requirements and opportunities for improvement.
  • Gathering information by observing workflows, analyzing company reports, conducting employee interviews, etc. Strive to consistently improve the overall efficiency, value, and internal process of the organization.
  • Determining appropriate methods to analyze operations, relevant information, and data.
  • Documenting findings, preparing reports, and making recommendations. Compiles analytical/ statistical reports and makes recommendations as needed.
  • Developing new processes and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Working with managers and employees to implement changes and training employees to use new systems or follow new processes.
  • Determining the effectiveness of new processes while establishing and maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Deliver a monthly report to management on industry trends and how to maximize those trends by altering company procedures
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to help find ways to create cost-effective business processes that will attract new customers.
  • Develop working relationships with internal working counterparts (IT, accounting, account managers, and others) to facilitate productive exchanges of information to improve efficiency and promote compliance.
  • Provide data, information, and reports as needed for other business units within the organization
  • Assess risks associated with tools and equipment, job sites, and work environments within their assigned area.
  • Updates on current safety hazards based on market research to educate others about avoiding health, safety, and environmental hazards.
  • Create awareness of safety
  • Monitor incidents of injury, illness, and other situations per branch and ensure that they are documented.
  • Ensure each department has an incident register that is updated.
  • Design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public safety.
  • Investigate environmental accidents and other public safety concerns within the organization. May also assign team marshals to investigate reported incidents.
  • Design training programs to provide safety awareness education.
  • Recruit and train new HSE marshal members.
  • Perform any other duty or task assigned to him by the HHR&A

Requirements

  • Qualification: B.Sc / HND, HSE Certification is a plus
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years as an HSE / Process Officer
