Job Title: Operation Analyst (HSE and Process)
Location: Lekki, Lagos

Responsibilities
- Identifying operational requirements and opportunities for improvement.
- Gathering information by observing workflows, analyzing company reports, conducting employee interviews, etc. Strive to consistently improve the overall efficiency, value, and internal process of the organization.
- Determining appropriate methods to analyze operations, relevant information, and data.
- Documenting findings, preparing reports, and making recommendations. Compiles analytical/ statistical reports and makes recommendations as needed.
- Developing new processes and procedures to enhance operations.
- Working with managers and employees to implement changes and training employees to use new systems or follow new processes.
- Determining the effectiveness of new processes while establishing and maintaining quality standards.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Deliver a monthly report to management on industry trends and how to maximize those trends by altering company procedures
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to help find ways to create cost-effective business processes that will attract new customers.
- Develop working relationships with internal working counterparts (IT, accounting, account managers, and others) to facilitate productive exchanges of information to improve efficiency and promote compliance.
- Provide data, information, and reports as needed for other business units within the organization
- Assess risks associated with tools and equipment, job sites, and work environments within their assigned area.
- Updates on current safety hazards based on market research to educate others about avoiding health, safety, and environmental hazards.
- Create awareness of safety
- Monitor incidents of injury, illness, and other situations per branch and ensure that they are documented.
- Ensure each department has an incident register that is updated.
- Design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public safety.
- Investigate environmental accidents and other public safety concerns within the organization. May also assign team marshals to investigate reported incidents.
- Design training programs to provide safety awareness education.
- Recruit and train new HSE marshal members.
- Perform any other duty or task assigned to him by the HHR&A
Requirements
- Qualification: B.Sc / HND, HSE Certification is a plus
- Experience: 1 - 3 years as an HSE / Process Officer
