Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for project coordination, planning and research required for the identification of new products opportunities.
- He/ She will lead and make strategic decisions to maximize sales, revenue and profits margins which will create benefits and value for the customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
- Drive product launches including working with the public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
- Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period
- Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
- Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
- Securing growth opportunities and initiating new products and projects
Requirements
- Minimum of a BSc, HND in Computer Science or related course.
- Professional Certification is required
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years proven experience as a Product/Project manager in a Fintech or related field
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
- Solid technical background with an understanding of software development and web technologies
- Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
- Good communication skills – both written, verbal and presentation.
