Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for project coordination, planning and research required for the identification of new products opportunities.
• He/ She will lead and make strategic decisions to maximize sales, revenue and profits margins which will create benefits and value for the customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
• Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
• Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
• Drive product launches including working with the public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
• Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period
• Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
• Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
• Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
• Securing growth opportunities and initiating new products and projects

Requirements

• Minimum of a BSc, HND in Computer Science or related course.
• Professional Certification is required
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years proven experience as a Product/Project manager in a Fintech or related field
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
• Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
• Solid technical background with an understanding of software development and web technologies
• Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
• Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
• Good communication skills – both written, verbal and presentation.
