Job Description

  • We are looking for an Outstanding Operations Manager / Special Assistant to work with our client, the CEO of a film production company.
  • This is an opportunity for a rising star with outstanding organizational skills, judgment, discretion, and the ability to anticipate and work well with people at all levels.
  • The ideal candidate is driven, very fast-paced, entrepreneurial, flexible, resilient and mature with excellent judgment.
  • The Special Assistant will be responsible for managing administrative tasks and day-to-day operations for the company
  • Manage productions from the office by maintaining an organised system of tracking, monitoring, and prioritising tasks and projects related to the portfolios of work to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage the MD's calendars. Schedule, plan and help facilitate meetings and serve as project manager on ongoing strategic projects as directed, tracking timelines and progress toward goals.
  • Assist in preparing, formatting, and proofreading reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other documents.
  • Provide support as needed to ongoing engagements and interactions and manage communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare new decks, pitch to new agencies for jobs, pitch to international organisations for new projects, grants, etc
  • Managing the creation and continuation of the social media platform projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent project management skills executed in fast-paced work environments, including ability to implement directions and take initiative as appropriate
  • At least 5 years work experience

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Excellent Administrative, organisational, and time management skills
  • Enthusiasm for administrative work with an understanding of the vital importance of that work to the success of the organisation
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office applications, online research tools, and ability to produce clear and effective written documents and visual presentations
  • Resourcefulness and good judgment. Must be able to help troubleshoot problems and find solutions with a calm, can-do attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with colleagues
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills, be detail-oriented
  • Must be structured in their thinking, and be able to work in an environment that is as dynamic as the film production sector.
