Job Title: Shop Assistant / Cashier
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday- Friday: 9am - 6pm, Saturday: 10:30am - 6pm
Job Summary
- We are looking to hire a hard-working, customer-oriented shop assistant to ensure the smooth running of in-store retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome Customers.
- Manage the store’s social media accounts and make posts as often as possible to promote brand.
- Manage all customer service inquiries, queries, and complaints.
- Identify customers' needs and recommend suitable shop items that best satisfy their needs.
- Assist clients in quickly locating the product they require.
- Addressing and resolving customers’ complaints in a professional manner.
- Processing customer payments using the shop's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines.
Requirements
- HND / B.Sc in relevant disciplines.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Very good with computers.
- Online marketing and sales.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Able to use the POS machine.
