Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategy for platform partnerships in Nigeria and across Africa
  • Execute on new partnerships deals and communicate updates to senior leadership
  • Lead the prospecting, development, negotiation, and signing of deals by working with various internal stakeholders
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure deal implementations are on track and delivering against plan
  • Develop and implement growth strategies focused on prospecting, relationship building and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute customized and scaled partner strategies, objectives, and plans to increase revenue and market
  • Spot new opportunities and identify ways to grow our market share
  • Monitor the competitive landscape for new products and market conditions to understand the needs in the ecosystem
  • Management of top relevant leads

Mandatory Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development & sale in a high growth, technology-driven business preferably FinTech
  • Handled monthly sales targets upwards of 100 million Naira
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Excellent communicator, analytical and data driven to make informed decisions
  • Ability to build rapport easily
  • Must possess great time management and planning skills
  • Solution oriented and one who can take ownership
