We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Functionally Reports To: MD
Administratively Reports To: Office of the MD

Job Objecive(s)

  • Oversees day-to-day operations of the company and the Accounts Unit.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the administrative operations of the business, in charge of the department's day-to-day deliverables as well as supervising & supporting staff.
  • Monitor daily sales and custodian of all cheques and cash received
  • Maintain accurate record of inventory and update new inventory
  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
  • Recruit and train personnel. Also responsible for allocating responsibilities and office space
  • Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
  • Manage schedules and meet deadlines
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and purchase of materials within defined budgets.
  • Monitor costs and expenses required for operational budget preparation
  • Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and other Technicians (e.g electricians & plumbers)
  • Organize and supervise other office activities such as scheduling delivery of goods to clients, office renovations and assisting with project planning.
  • Ensure staff adhere to Company/Management’s policies and regulations
  • Keep abreast of market changes, competition and business developments
  • Any other responsibility as may be assigned by the MD.

Education Qualifications

  • Minimum educational level – Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any relative field
  • 8 - 10 Years Experience in a similar position.

Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental policies
  • Familiarity with financial and facilities management principles
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • A team player with leadership skills
  • Able to work within a certain level of ambiguity and take initiative
  • Integrity and probity are key for success in this position.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
