Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Location: Festac Town, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and development.
  • Consistently recruiting excellent staff
  • Maintaining a smooth onboarding process
  • Overseeing and Coordinating Learning and Development (Training) for the company.
  • Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation
  • Carrying out necessary administrative duties
  • Conducting performance and wage reviews
  • Developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness
  • Creating clear and concise reports
  • Giving helpful and engaging presentations
  • Maintaining and reporting workplace health and safety compliance.
  • Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures
  • Maintaining employee and workplace privacy
  • Connecting executives with employees, building employer brand, improving employee engagement, and building strategic talent resources plans
  • Act as the first point of call to employees and external partners for all HR related queries as well as maintain and update employee records and internal databases.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Handle payroll administration
  • Handle disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Maintain employee records in tandem with policy and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and amend where necessary HR documents, to include employment contracts and recruitment guides.
  • Report regularly on HR metrics, such as turnover.

Requirements

  • HND or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ Experience in Human Resources Management and knowledge around all legal requirements in this role
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues
  • Experience in:
  • Educating and Coaching staff
  • Conflict Resolution, Disciplinary Processes and Workplace Investigations
  • Maintaining Workplace Privacy
  • The application of Information Technology (computers) for a variety of tasks, especially with competencies in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Making good presentations
  • The deployment of Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws

Remuneration
N2,400,000 Annually.
