Job Title: Merchant Acquisition Manager
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performance driven merchant acquisition team.
- Actively involved in recruiting merchant acquisition agents.
- Proactively generate leads, manage merchant acquisition pipelines and onboarding to achieve goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Build and maintain profitable professional relationships with merchants.
- Generating strategy and development plan for merchant acquisition.
- Design the partnership models for merchants and vendors.
- Collaborating with project team members to improve customer value.
- Devise, implement and adjust the merchant partnership strategy at CredPal.
- Close deals with priority merchants covering BNPL, discounts, offers and other collaboration areas.
- Build a team of executives to expand our network.
- Work directly with internal and external customers to initiate, plan, execute and manage merchant solution development and business implementation initiatives to accomplish overall business, client and vendor objectives.
Requirements
- First Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field with 4-6 years’ work experience in a similar role.
- Relevant training & certifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong execution mindset focused on the effective achievement of business goals with the ability to dive into details and collaborate across teams.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Excellent Leadership Skills.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Attention to Details.
