Job Objectives
- To provide support to the Bank in the delivery of its objectives by ensuring effective and efficient Internal/external digital advertising communications for the various businesses using the social media platforms.
- To identify and develop opportunities for business growth and maximize synergy in all marketing and brand-building activities within Banks Departments and SBUs.
- To provide support in ensuring prompt processing of vendor’s invoices within the stipulated timelines.
Responsibilities
- Support development of Digital Marketing strategy for the social media platforms
- Support marketing efforts across digital channels from planning through design, execution and monitoring to deliver marketing and business unit objectives
- Support the development of the social media monthly calendar, track and update in alignment with Brands calendar
- Competition tracking and performance on the social media space
- Support online media partner’s correspondence, payments and campaign scheduling
- Support strategy for campaign targeting for all digital channels (web, email, display, mobile, search, social etc.)
- Follow up on appropriate approvals throughout the campaign development process including concept, creative execution, and compliance.
- Work with Content Development team and external agencies to develop digital campaign contents
- Follow up on briefing external agencies including creative, digital and media planning agencies to deliver campaign activity against brief
- Support campaign execution and manage performance against agreed campaign activity
- Carry out post campaign analysis to report KPIs and distribute learning for future campaigns
- Develop social media plans /initiatives
- Work with the Strategic Planning Lead to develop social media KPIs & Metrics
- Support activities of the Social Media Officers / Army
- Leverage social listening to protect FirstBank brand and leverage listening insights on brand perception and customer characteristics and preferences to inform overall customer experience
- Support development of social media messaging calendars and monitor calendar execution
- Monitor social media performance and develop action plan for continuous improvement
Requirements & Skills
- Degree Digital Marketing, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines in Social Sciences / Humanities
- Project Management Certification (added advantage)
- Minimum of 2 years experience, of which must have been spent in consumer or service goods marketing will be an added advantage.
