We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth
- Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
- Researching prospective accounts in target markets
- Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
- Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
- Setting goals and developing strategies to meet those goals
- Training business development and contract staff
- Attending conferences and industry events
- Prepare action plans and strategy for identifying prospects.
- Prepare proposals for prospects and sell Company products /services to potential Clients.
- Maintain action plan to transform prospects into business opportunities.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals as directed by line manager resulting from field activity.
- Meet set target for new business as assigned by the line manager.
- Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to Line Manager and attend meetings as required.
- Recruiting contract staff for short and long term projects as the need arises
- Coach new recruit on the field and in class training to ensure 100% knowledge transfer for ease of work and speedy target achievements.
- Other duties as assigned by your line manager.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and sales conferences.
Qualifications
Minimum Educated level:
- Second class lower (2:2) University Degree or the equivalent
- Certificate in Research and Data analysis an added advantage.
