Job Title: Senior Manager, Admin and Facility

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are looking for an Admin and Facilities Manager who will strategically oversee all aspects of our Employee Experience.

Job Description
What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee facilities and ensure they meet the needs of individual projects and coordinate with IT staff for any technological-related needs
  • Monitor and control facility usage, operations and equipment maintenance
  • Ensure regular updates and maintain usage records and invoice clients accordingly
  • Create a schedule of regular assessments of every facility
  • Ensuring proper compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Maintaining continuous communication with contractors, clients and team
  • Ensure that all equipment and facility is fully operational and all available utilities are functioning properly
  • Create a schedule and oversee the maintenance repair work, also assist with occasional checks of installation and servicing of building equipment
  • Ensure proper management of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
  • Create a plan for future development in line with MAX strategic objectives
  • Ensuring proper installations and maintenance of adequate communication infrastructure
  • Ensure participation in the development of policies and procedures that will affect the use of supplies and facilities
  • Oversee control, maintenance and upgrade overall facility as required
  • Ensure active participation in overseeing the ongoing employee experience by directing the consistent delivery of exceptional support from the team members.
  • Ensure consistent and proper communication with other team members in regard to any facilities or security concerns.

Requirements
What You’ll Need:

  • Degree in Management Studies or any equivalent field
  • 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience or any equivalent related functions
  • 5+ years of customer service experience
  • 5+ years of office operations experience
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements and safety
  • precautions related to facilities management
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Proficiency with repair told and techniques
  • Great time management organisation and prioritization abilities
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Well-organized, detailed and customer-oriented self-starter
  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills.
