Job Description Summary

  • The ideal candidate for the Business Development Executive role is an experienced individual who will drive our company’s growth through exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships.
  • In addition, he/she must have a sound understanding of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
  • Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen and select potential business opportunities in line with strategies and facilitate pitch delivery.
  • Strong understanding of company services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.
  • Develop and sustain solid relationships with company stakeholders and clients.
  • Analyse client feedback data to determine whether clients are satisfied with company services.
  • Analyse financial data and develop effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and collaborate with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Business Administration, or any related field. A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a business development executive in an oil and gas company.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
  • Ability to be proactive and work under pressure and uncertain environments
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management tools.
