Job Description

  • The organization requires the services of a Human Resources and Admin Officer to provide HR support services in the areas of Recruitment & Selection, Salary and Benefits Administration, Employee Welfare and well-being, Performance Management, Learning and Development, HR legal compliance and other areas of the HR value chain.

Responsibilities

  • Organize staff recruitment, testing and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection, conducting and analyzing exit interviews.
  • Documentation of staff information for use by other department (especially accounts) for processing of staff benefits or otherwise.
  • Management of all personnel files, records, correspondence and staff identity cards.
  • Prepare employee benefit programs and informs employees of the benefits by studying and assessing benefits, needs and trends; recommending benefits programs to management through Head, HR&A, process benefit, claims for staff.
  • Follow up on legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; manataining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Assisting the Head, Human Resource and Administration in all HR&A department activities.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned by the management​

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or any relevant Social Science or Business Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience practicing HR in a manufacturing organization with requisite knowledge of the Factories Act and other relevant Nigerian Labour Law.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with Senior management colleagues and the public.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work as a team member and independently with a high-level of self-motivation.
  • Self-directed and willing to learn.
  • Membership of CIPM, HRCI or others is an advantage

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
