Job Title: Business Development Officer
Location: Lekki, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
- Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process for the business.
- Collaborate with Management Team to identify and carryout business risks assessments.
- Communicating with and informing existing clients in a way that supports an ongoing relationship.
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Work with the Chief Operating Officer to set strategy and objectives for lead generation.
- Source new leads and develop a network of key stakeholders to develop pipeline.
- Orchestrate new business meetings/pitches, and preparing presentations.
- Establish a strategy for opening opportunities with new or lapsed clients.
- Manage day to day activities for new business strategy and lead generation campaigns –
- Prepare reports and deliver pitches including - records of sales, client prospect and existing database, weekly/ monthly sales revenue.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers subsequently grow the business by leveraging those relationships.
- Manage business profitability.
- Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
- Work closely with the business owners on a business growth strategy and then devising an action plan with goals and objectives.
- Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- Proven workingexperience as a business development Executive, sales, or a relevant role.
- 4 - 5 years experience in sales and marketing role.
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Communication and negotiationskills.
- Time management and planning skills.
Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 Monthly.
