Job Title: Human Resource / Administrative Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • You are to assist to deliver and support transactional HR services, including payroll management, policy interpretation, leave processing, benefits administration, and other general Admin/HRM functions and report to the Managing director.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the operations of the Human Resource Department and act as the first point of contact for staff requests.
  • Provide consultations to management on strategic staffing and be responsible for recruiting, supporting, and developing talent through developing policies and managing procedures.
  • Design and implement workforce performance system
  • Oversees and ensures accurate personnel records on the HR system and other relevant databases.
  • Periodically initiates/advises management on administrative Human Resource Policies and Processes that will ensure seamline operations.
  • Review/maintain/update group structure, Job Descriptions and Manning Levels in line with strategic business needs/requirements
  • Propose new policies and procedures that will aid the HR efficacy
  • Oversee and implement staff discipline
  • Responsible for administrative tasks as well as contribute to making the company a better place to work.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the managing director.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc / M.Sc / MBA in any relevant field of study
  • 10 - 15 years of relevance of work experience as HR/Admin manager in Manufacturing/Production/FMCG; of which 7 must be in management level
  • Good people management and administrative skill
  • Report writing and presentation skill.
  • Must have a good conflict resolution and wages negotiation skill
  • A strategic and forward thinker with good leadership ability
  • Proficient in integrating HR packages and softwares into processes and drive result
  • Performance management system.
