Job Purpose
Supply Chain Management is the bedrock of the organization as it interphase and provides support to other thematic units for Effective and efficient program implementation. Two subunits:

  • Procurement
  • Facilities Maintenance Unit.

Specific duties & Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents related to instructions, conditions, specifications and drawings and prepare contract documentation.
  • Conduct site visits and meeting with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects and government entities.
  • Prepare contractor and vendor evaluation criteria for materials, equipment and services' quality, price and specification compliance and conduct vendor submission analysis and prepare evaluations.
  • Prepare project specifications and cost estimates and planning, cost analysis, cash flow charts and BOQ for pre-contract concept and valuation reports.
  • Prepare As built and proposed working drawings for the purpose of health facilities renovations.
  • Monitor the price changes in the materials prices database and provide a forecast of future rates for items of works.
  • Carry out a quarterly market survey of building materials for the build-up of rates for items of work.
  • Responsible for the forecasting, quantification, and maintenance of commodities and procurement plans to support the Program.
  • Manages the maintenance and repairs of all power generating sets in the State.
  • Review and analyze quarterly consumption and quantification reports for the state offices; identify and proactively manage any potential issue.
  • Coordinate contract amendment process, ensuring that amendments follow original solicitations and contract statements of work.
  • Interfacing and conducting joint inspections with the client and subcontractor representatives.
  • Plan and carry out minor office maintenance across the main office and all satellite commands in the state.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of First Degree or equivalent qualifications in Building, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Estate Management, Civil Engineering, and Other Built Environment fields
  • 2-3 years’ experience.
  • Good knowledge.
