We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Agro Commodities / Sales Executive

Location: Edo
Job Type: Full Time
Reporting Line: CEO/COO

Role Job Description

  • Are you a true salesperson, eager to work on an international level and not afraid to take on a new challenge? This might be the job you have been looking for! As an Agro commodities lead, you will be working in a highly commercial, dynamic and multilingual environment.
  • You will be responsible for managing the existing portfolio of customers, as well as identifying new businesses to increase sales on the global market.
  • You will be responsible for keeping track of offers, relationship management with customers, as well as negotiating prices, payment, and delivery terms.
  • You will work on successfully closing and delivering deals.
  • You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Job Requirements and Competencies

  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a sales executive or marketer in an Agribusiness firm.
  • You are fluent in English and French; It is a plus to speak/understand Mandarin Chinese or Spanish.
  • You are a leader.
  • You have proven track record in the sales of agro-commodities and agro by-products.
  • You are flexible and have a commercial attitude.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills: confident, charismatic and proactive.
  • You are able to set priorities and work on more than one task simultaneously.
  • You are a self-starter and enjoy working with targets and meeting the targets set.
  • You have good mathematical skills and excellent communication skills.
  • You are available for extensive travel to Europe, Middle East, Africa or other regions of the world as may be required
  • Effective written or verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal relationship and must be culturally sensitive and relate well with different people of diverse cultural background.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team with team building spirit and meet up with deadlines.
  • Must be hardworking, diligent, and able to work under pressure.
