Job Title: Sales Executive
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Maintain good relationships with the company’s customers through regular Phone contact, e-mails or the personal contacts.
- Build a connection between the current market and the future market with his company.
- Report sales report to the Managing Director.
- Visit potential customers for new business.
- Provide customers with quotations.
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards.
- Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
- Liaise with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
- Check the quantities of goods on display and in stock.
- Record sales and order information and sending copies to the Managing Director, or entering figures into a computer system.
- Review sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
- Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks in the context of tight deadlines
- Pro-active with a positive can-do attitude
- Comfortable in liaising with internal and external stakeholders of all levels
