Job Title: Business and Sales Development Officer
Location: Ubahadara, Nempi, Oru West LGA, Imo
Employment Type: Full-time (In person)
Reporting to: Manager

Working Week: Monday to Saturday: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Job Purpose
- The Business and Sales Development Officer will be responsible for attracting and retaining more customers in the company.
- They are responsible for growing the company’s market share, visibility and awareness, and ultimately sales numbers. (Bottom line revenue).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Manager to determine and set revenue goals, targets, and budgets for each business year by the company’s vision.
- Create sales and marketing plans for achieving the set sales target (Monthly, quarterly, and yearly).
- Market the company’s products to new and existing customers
- Create a model for retaining existing customers
- Set up, optimize, and grow the company's social media marketing channels and presence.
- Organize and oversee advertising, communication campaigns (social media, TV, Newspaper, etc.), exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Create sales reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly) by targets and budgets and results achieved and submit them to the manager.
Requirements
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of HND or equivalent preferably Business discipline.
- Ideally, 2- 5 years of experience working as a Sales or Business Development Officer with a reputable organization. (Experience in a manufacturing company is strongly preferred).
- Relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
Skills Required:
- Working and practical knowledge of computers and the internet
- Excellent knowledge and use of social media and online marketing channels
- Working knowledge of modern work tools such as google workspace
- Proficiency in Ms. Office and CRM software
- Proven sales track record
Competences Required:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong sales planning and negotiation skills
- Great with numbers and mathematical calculations
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

Job Perks and Compensation
- N60,000 (net) per monthly salary + 2% of sales target met per quarter.
