We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Assistant to MD

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Technical Assistant will report to the Managing Director or Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for: Providing dedicated support to the MD/CEO to ensure all functions relating to the MD’s office are handled efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the MD’s calendar or diaries and itinerary
  • Schedule and obtain appointment dates for the MD’s meetings with key organization stakeholders.
  • Carry out background research and gather relevant documents on required speeches, presentations, etc. and present findings to the MD.
  • Produce documents, briefing papers, reports, speeches, and presentations for the MD.
  • Attend meetings with the MD/CEO as required and ensure he/ she is fully prepared for such meetings.
  • Take and prepare minutes of meetings as necessary.
  • Liaise with the Corporate Communications function on any press release by the Authority requiring information from the office of the assigned principal, news conferences and other media publications/ interfaces regarding the Company.
  • Act as the MD’s first point of contact on all issues pertaining to the office and handle all related correspondences.
  • Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the Managing Director

Requirements

  • A First Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ post-qualification experience in a similar function.
  • Basic knowledge of asset management, infrastructure development and general investment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Good relationship management skills.
  • High level of pro-activity and ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Highly organized and extremely detailed orientation.
  • Political savvy, maturity, and tact, including the ability to relate with different levels of stakeholders and interested groups.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Good appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity.
