Job Title: Sector Head (Recruitment and Outsourcing)

Job Summary

  • The Recruitment and Outsourcing (Sector Head) is responsible for delivering on all facets of resourcing and on-boarding processes for U-Connect’s clients through the development of plans, employing various sourcing strategies and hiring the best possible talent to realize an optimal staffing for U-Connect’s clients in short and long term.

Key Responsibilities
Operations / Processes:

  • Oversee the entire operations of the Recruitment and Outsourcing Unit.
  • Develop and Implement strategies for effective resourcing that will ensure that U-Connect’s clients has the required skills to meet current and future needs.
  • Ensure that all processes and timelines are adhered to, in order to meet clients’ needs and demands.
  • Continually provide top class talent as outsourced staff to U-Connect’s clients.
  • Facilitate the on-boarding and seamless integration of new staff into the system.
  • Established selection criteria/requirement for the vacant positions for all positions of U-Connect’s clients.
  • Prepare and control the quality of job advert draft (externally/internally).
  • Plan and organize recruitment campaigns (online/offline) and set up talent data base and recruitment channel system.
  • Sourcing and engaging with candidates locally and globally on a proactive, external succession pipeline basis.
  • Adopt direct resourcing approach (Job Boards, LinkedIn, Social Media, Referrals and Headhunting) towards recruitment process ensuring a cost effective and quality driven approach to candidate attraction.
  • Manage all Value Added Services for all accounts as well as the Management strategy for the year.
  • Continuous development of strategies that will ensure the growth of existing Outsourcing accounts by 50% each Quarter.
  • Ensure to liaise with all the Outsource clients on a periodic basis to ensure business retention and growth.
  • Provide HR advisory to your team members and clients when required.
  • Actively support account managers with interviews and selection process for clients.
  • Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for Quality, management, Health & Safety, Legal Requirement, environmental policies and general duty of care.
  • Plan team members’ performance appraisal monthly and quarterly, develop tools for appraisal, job evaluation and development.
  • Payroll Administration for all Outsourced staff: assume ownership of managed accounts and ensure all outsourced staff salaries and benefits are paid on time and in line with agreements with clients.
  • Provide weekly and Monthly Reports of Activities of the Department to Management.
  • Continuously develop database for all job roles available in outsourcing and recruitment Projects.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Manage relationships with clients and ensure our services exceeds all their expectations.
  • Ensure that all service requirements are met as agreed in the SLA.

Strategy:

  • Conduct regular surveys on HR best practices, analyse information trends in the Nigerian/Global labour market.
  • Provide ideas, insights and guidance to the Organisation as changes occur in the market place.

Team Leadership, Growth and Training:

  • Provide leadership and direction for the recruitment and outsourcing unit.
  • Ensure that all unit members meet their deadlines and KPI’s
  • Provide on the job training for the unit members.
  • Provide needed class-room and online training for the unit members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field with at least 5 years experience.
  • Experience in outsourcing , Talent Management , Employees engagement and retention
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
