We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Learning & Development

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking to hire a Head of L&D. You will have an interesting role in leading the development and implementation of the learning strategy supporting the Jiji Cars business while driving a learning culture.
  • In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow.
  • You would excel easily if you are an excellent communicator and if you also have experience designing e-learning courses and managing the end to end of learning internally and with stakeholders.
  • Ultimately, you will help our company succeed by training and developing its people.

Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Helping the Company meet its objectives by developing & implementing high impact learning & development programs in line with business needs and priorities.
  • Establish strong partnerships with the business to gain a strong understanding of current business issues and opportunities, as related to learning and development.
  • Conduct organizational needs analysis and create training plans to ensure that all employees have the required competencies to excel in their roles.
  • Reviewing and revising course materials to ensure they are in line with operating processes, procedures and systems.
  • Deliver training to various parts of the business and work with various stakeholders to coordinate and organize training sessions.
  • Collating feedback on completed training to evaluate and measure results and make improvements where required.
  • Conduct training trainer workshops to ensure training, scalability and effectiveness.
  • Deploying different kinds of learning methods company wide٫ such as coaching٫ job-shadowing٫ online training, e.t.c.
  • Managing the Learning & Development budget.
  • Defining and leading projects focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements
We believe that you will succeed better if you possess the following:

  • HND or BSc in Psychology or any related field.
  • 5+ years' experience of working on as a L&D Manager٫ Training Manager or other relevant position.
  • Good knowledge of the latest Learning & Developments trends & software/ e-learning platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen.
  • Experience in project management and budgeting.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
